In Tokyo, the Mizuho Bank building will be demolished along with the NTT Hibiya Building as part of the redevelopment of the Uchisaiwaicho 1 Chome District.

The project 6.5-hectare site is split into three segments, with a total of four high-rises to be completed by the late 2030s. Walkability on the site will be improved by a pedestrian overpass between the project and nearby Hibiya Park.

A total of 10 landowners and developers will take part in the redevelopment, including NTT Urban Development, Mitsui Fudosan, TEPCO Power Grid, and the Imperial Hotel.
