An AU$800 million (US$591 million) three-tower residential development has been proposed to the Gold Coast City Council on a 1.15 hectare site near the Surfers Paradise North light rail station.

The project at 103 Ferny Avenue from SPG Land and Gordon Corp, would feature 1,713 square meters of ground-level retail, a dining plaza, and extensive open public spaces.

Designed by Rothelowman, the three residential towers would range in height from 39 to 43 stories and would deliver a total of 792 apartments and 902 underground parking spaces.

Each towers podium level will be interconnected by walkways to create an elevated neighborhood village atmosphere. Each podium would offer separate amenities catering to different user groups, such as families or mature lifestyle buyers. Among other amenities, Tower 1 will feature the project’s circular infinity lagoon pool, Tower 2 will have an indoor and outdoor kids’ zone, and Tower 3 will feature a suspended glass-bottom lap pool 26 stories up. Each tower would also feature a sky lounge occupying their 26th floor.

The development is expected to be officially launched to the market in the fourth quarter of this year.
