Swiss-Belhotel International will open its first hotel in Kuantan, Malaysia, during the first quarter of 2020.

Dubbed Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan, the new waterfront hotel at Tanjung Lumpur on the west coast of peninsular Malaysia lies just two kilometers from the city center.

The property will have 366 rooms and suites across 27 floors.

The hotel forms part of the Kuantan Waterfront Resort City (KWRC), Pahang state’s first integrated tourism complex. The 202-hectare, mixed-use development features a retail mall, conference center, residences, a healthcare hub, a marina, and leisure facilities, plus waterfront bars and restaurants.

The hotel is also a short drive from Kuantan’s Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport.
