The CTBUH Nordic Chapter recently hosted two exhilarating launch events for the upcoming CTBUH 2024 International Conference, "New or Renew: Addressing the Density Dilemma," 23–27 September, in London and Paris. 23.
The first event was in Helsinki, 30 January in the Original Sokos Hotel Tripla, Helsinki, on top of Pasila railway station, this half-day conference and evening reception, was arranged in cooperation with Ramboll, Peikko, and included a keynote presentation from CTBUH President Dr. Antony Wood with a formal launch of the CTBUH 2024 International Conference, "New or Renew: Addressing the Density Dilemma."
The second event was in Copenhagen, 28 February, hosted at the impressive new headquarters of Bjarke Ingels Group—BIG and kindly co-sponsored by Dineson, the event was a celebration of Nordic Design Excellence. It had a distinguished lineup of speakers including Morten Kirban Rix, Project Director, Incuba; Brian Yang, Partner, BIG; Nicolai Hommelhoff, Partner, Domis; Jes John Tonsgaard, Senior Associate, 3XN; Sonja Stockmarr, Global Design Director, Henning Larsen; and Anne Skovbro, CEO, By og Havn; and an opening keynote address was given by CTBUH President Dr. Antony Wood. Attendees were treated to insights and discussions surrounding the conference theme: "New or Renew: Addressing the Density Dilemma."
From the enthusiasm of participants and the lively discussions, the conference promises to be a pivotal gathering for professionals in the field.
