Brian Yang joined Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in 2007 and was named Partner in 2015. He has worked closely with founder and architect Bjarke Ingels on a wide range of projects such as an energy efficient skyscraper in Shenzhen, completed in 2017; the 8 House, Copenhagen, a new typology of residential building that was completed in 2010. He has been the project leader on a number of competition winning proposals, including CopenHill, Copenhagen, a waste-to-energy plant that doubles as a ski slope; Kistefos Art Museum, Oslo that bridges across a river and was completed in 2019; and the LEGO House, Billand, Denmark, which opened its doors to critical acclaim in 2017.
