Shelter-in-Place Order Lifted after Storm Causes Glass Panes to Fall from San Francisco Skyscraper
An order to shelter in place and evacuate the area surrounding a skyscraper in San Franciso has been lifted.
The order was initially put in place because glass panes were falling from 555 California Street, the site of one of San Francisco's tallest buildings on Tuesday, 14 March, 2023.
Four blocks surrounding the building were initially evacuated, including businesses initially, but the Fire Department announced that this has since been lifted.
