Plans for the construction of five new towers are currently being reviewed at the Miami Worldcenter development, located just north of Downtown Miami. These towers, three of which are designed by Nichols Architects, would have a combined total of over 4 million square feet. The master-planned community, spanning 27 acres, is overseen by master developer Art Falcone, CEO of Falcone Group, and Nitin Motwani, managing partner at Merrimac Ventures.

The proposals for the towers will be presented to the Miami Urban Development Review Board. If approved, the three additional towers would add 2,600 residences to the Miami World Towers, joining the tower that is already under construction. The development occupies a significant portion of a city block, situated at 10 Northeast Eighth St. and 777 North Miami Ave.

The larger of the two plans, submitted by an affiliate of Lalezarian Properties based in New York, includes 2,040 residences and ground-floor retail space totaling almost 3,000 square feet. This proposal features two towers that rise to a height of 695 feet, equivalent to 66 stories, and a third building reaching 280 feet.

In total, the towers would add 2.1 million square feet of residential space to Block E at the Miami Worldcenter resulting in a combined residential area of over 3 million square feet when considering the tower currently under construction. The Miami World Towers properties would be connected by a podium and an 810-space parking garage.

The taller towers would offer amenities on their top floors and rooftops. The properties were designed by Nichols Architects, based in Coral Gables, and were submitted to the development board by attorney Javier Aviñó from Bilzin Sumberg. Lalezarian acquired the 1.9-acre site for $43 million in 2019, as reported by Commercial Observer.
