Groupline Constructions will take over the construction of the Marine Quarter Southport twin-tower project on the Gold Coast after GCB Constructions went into voluntary administration. This project is the only approved residential development on the Broadwater Parklands and comprises 260 apartments. The 29-story Oceanic Tower, which has already sold out, is currently under construction. After the collapse of GCB Constructions, this project, along with five others in Queensland, was taken back by developers. BuildCap's director announced the appointment of Groupline Constructions, a family-run firm based in Arundel, to complete the project.

The Oceanic Tower, designed by WallaceBrice Architecture, includes 105 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as ground-level retail space and a restaurant. The podium level features a resort-style pool and lounge. BuildCap has also launched Scenic Tower, the second tower, with 158 apartments. Work on this tower is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year.
