The Puerta del Alma Complex, located in the El Espino District, is progressing at a good pace. Alejandro Dueñas, president of Urbánica, the project’s developer, said that the sale of the second tower of the complex is 60 percent finished. Urbánica will invest US$18 million into this second building.

Meanwhile, the sale of the first tower, which is planned to have 112 units, has been 95 percent completed. The delivery of the apartments is scheduled for March 2020. In 2017, the company reported that it would invest $25 million into the project.

The complex will have three towers with 305 apartments total. “For that good pace of placement, we started marketing the second tower. There are 12 stories, 96 apartments and 270 parking spots,” said Dueñas.

The company plans to begin construction of the second tower in October 2019. The construction period is estimated to take between 18 and 20 months. The apartments will range from 95 square meters (1,023 square feet) to 135 square meters (1,453 square feet).

The second tower will have a concierge, convenience area, clubhouse gym, pet bath station, co-working area, laundry area, car wash, playgrounds and a tool-sharing service, among other amenities. The prices of the apartments start at $230,000.

Dueñas said that while the architectural style of the second building is contemporary, it has classic elements. Regarding the third tower, Dueñas explained that the intent is to continue with the pace of commercialization that has prevailed to date, so that the construction process can be continuous.

“The market has responded well, and that is why we have already reached 60 percent in such a short time. Construction on the complex has generated 1,200 jobs."

The president of the real estate development company affirms that the company always seeks to use the best technologies in its works so that they are more efficient in time, cost and quality, as well as contributing to the economic growth of the country.

The project is located a few steps from shopping centers such as Multiplaza and La Gran Vía, as well as future projects such as Casco Station, currently under construction by Urbánica.
