Insurance Firm Puts its Portion of London Skyscraper Up for Sale

WR Berkley has put its 387,000 square feet (35,953 square meters) City of London tower The Scalpel, EC3, up for sale.

The 190.1-meter building, which has been valued at circa £820 million (US$1.6 billion) was more than 80 percent let back in December 2019 after insurance firm Chaucer went under the offer on 44,000 square feet (4,087 square meters) at the 35-floor tower.

Featured Buildings

In April 2020, enterprise software company SAP signed for 20,782 square feet(1930 square meters) on floors 19 and 20, leaving just three floors still available in the building totaling 28,500 square feet (2,647 square meters).
