The first phase of the One Nine Elms complex, a mixed-use development and focal point of the evolving Nine Elms area in southwest London, has reached practical completion.

Situated at the entrance to the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area. The development has two landmark high-rises, the 43-story River Park Tower with residences and a hotel and the residential 57-story City Tower, which will accommodate a total of 494 homes and a luxury Park Hyatt Hotel. It will also provide over 325 square meters of retail and public space.

Multiplex, the main contractor, has now formally handed over the first phase of the development to owners R&F Properties. Designed by lead architects KPF, the two buildings are linked with a glazed bridge on the first floor and give access to the hotel facilities, including a luxury spa, ballroom, clubhouse restaurant, and karaoke bar. A large residential lounge and sky garden will be located on level 50 of the River Park Tower, offering panoramic views of London across the River Thames.

The practical completion of the first phase of the development represents an important milestone in London’s Nine Elms regeneration and the culmination of years of hard work by R&F Properties, Multiplex and the project team since the building contract was signed in August 2017.
