It was revealed that two residential towers, 31-story ‘Hightail’  and 26-story ‘Skylark’  will be part of the new Portlands Place launch by rental operator, Get Living, for a new build to rent scheme at the East Village, in the Stratford neighborhood of London. The scheme includes 524 dwellings – a mix of studio, one, two, three and four bedroom apartments. The spacious, open-plan apartments would come fully-furnished with three interior styles to choose from – including high-spec Grundig kitchen appliances, and will also include either an enclosed or Juliette balcony.

Designed by architectural practice Hawkins\Brown, the towers are adjoined with a unique skybridge located on the 10th floor. The skybridge gives residents exclusive access to 728 square meters (7,836 sq ft) of indoor amenity spaces and 973 square meters (10,473 sq ft) of outdoor private roof terraces. Both homes and shared spaces offer views across the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village, East London and beyond.

Portlands Place is located on the corner of Anthems Way and Olympic Park Avenue. The scheme is in a prime position to take advantage of East Village’s established cluster of 30 restaurants, cafes and retail spaces, as well as being on the doorstep of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and emerging East Bank. The Portlands Place launches in 2022 which will mark ten years since the legacy of the London 2012 Olympics.
