CTBUH India Chair and Director of Sterling Eng. Pvt. ltd., Girish Dravid, presented new codes for high rises and new technology in high rise structure designs at the ISHRAE Hyderabad Conference 2023. 

Pushyamitra Londhe, Principal, AHC, presented case studies and dealt with the challenges tall building design faces with an emphasis on core design, fire safety, and an overview on MEPF and Structural Design.

Another interesting topic was introduced and presented by Sunil Godbole, Director, CBRE. This presentation covered the impact of Urbanisation, Concentration of Population, Scarcity of Land, Sustainability & Intrinsic Nature of tall buildings & Driving Forces. Mr. Godbole also covered the case study of Hong Kong compared with the various developments in Mumbai. The Transit Oriented Development policies in the city of Mumbai, Bengaluru & Hyderabad were also discussed in detail.
