About

Winfried Heusler studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University Munich. The Technical University Berlin conferred a doctorate on him for his thesis on “daylight”.

In 2014 he was awarded Honorary Professor for “façade design and technology” by the University of Applied Sciences in Detmold.

Working for the façade construction company Gartner, he was responsible for high-rise projects such as the Jin Mao Building, Shanghai. He joined Schueco in 1998, first as Technical Director, later as Senior Vice President Engineering (projects e.g. Al-Tijaria Tower, Kuwait). Since 2014 he is Head of Corporate Building Excellence and technical ambassador for Schueco worldwide.
