Since joining Lend Lease in June 2000, Toni Blume has worked in various Project Management and Business Management roles and is highly regarded within the Lendlease organization and the industry for her leadership of large-scale integrated developments.
Currently, Blume holds the role of Project Director at the Martin Place Metro Integrated Development in Sydney, a $1.4B project including a new Metro station, retail, end of trip facilities and two iconic commercial towers. She is working closely with both the Macquarie Bank leadership team and the State, as the Clients, to progress to contract and financial close of this significant city changing opportunity. She is well respected for her decision making and commercial skills.
Blume leads her teams by example, with a reputation for hard work and dedication in delivering on her commitments particularly across design, program and costs. Her technical skills have been honed through her lengthy industry experience and she has a strong operational and commercial knowledge. Her skills in design, planning, construction and financial constraints of projects are significant and her professionalism high. Blume is a hands-on and leads by example, promoting open communication and collaboration, and has a strong focus on mentoring and supporting developing teams.
From 2015-2017, Blume led the team of Project and Design Managers across the Barangaroo South precinct including Commercial, Retail and Residential sectors, working with the Lendlease delivery team and extensive Clients and Stakeholders representatives to achieve the best project outcomes. She also led the Lendlease Building team in the recent White Bay Power Station Bid for Urban Growth during this time.
In her role as Project Director at Darling Harbour Live Toni led the conversion and initial design and delivery of this significant project for Sydney. A $1.5B PPP the project redevelops Darling Harbour to create a new Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Centre for Infrastructure NSW and the people of the city and the State.
