Scott Hampson began his career in the vertical transportation industry over 37 years ago in the design office of a small family-owned lift company in Sydney. Having gained a solid grounding in all aspects of lift layout and lift component design, he has held senior roles within Kone, Schindler, and ThyssenKrupp. Scott’s project references include some of the most iconic projects in Australia such as the Sydney Harbour Casino, Sydney Olympic Stadium, Q1, Gold Coast; Central Park, Perth; International Towers, Sydney; Quay Quarter Tower, Sydney; and Changi Airport, Singapore. Hampson now leads the vertical transportation consulting discipline in Arup within the Asia Pacific region.
