Richard Mann is a practicing architect with and the founding director of Ecosystem Architecture. His experience over 30 years has demonstrated a passion for design innovation that produces practical sustainability, both environmentally and socially. Richard focuses an architecture that creates buildings as communities.

Ecosystem Architecture funds a dedicated research program into biophilic urbanism and architecture. The designs deliver viable ecosystem capability that contributes advanced environmental amenity for residents and building occupiers.

Richard’s holistic approach to design has been expressed in innovative tall building designs for extreme climates. For example, a 60 storey residential building in the Middle East and a climatically atrium transitioned series of tall commercial buildings in central China currently under construction.
