Phillip Quach is a Structural Engineer at RJC working on complex projects spanning across commercial, residential, and institutional sectors. Equipped with in-depth structural consulting experience, Phillip is proficient in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures. As a member of RJC’s structural technical group, he engages in ongoing technical development within the firm.

Leading a groundbreaking research project focused on the shear response of very thick reinforced concrete slabs, Phillip built and tested the world’s deepest shear specimen as part of his graduate thesis at the University of Toronto. Preliminary results were published in an article he coauthored that was featured on the cover of ACI’s Concrete International magazine in November 2015, a paper later selected to win the ACI Design Award in 2017.
