Phillip Quach is a Senior Structural Engineer at AKT II working on complex projects across commercial, residential, and institutional sectors. With nearly a decade of experience in the AEC industry, Phil excels in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Phil’s pioneering research on the shear response of very thick reinforced concrete slabs led to the construction and testing of the world’s deepest shear specimen, a key component of his graduate thesis at the University of Toronto. His seminal findings were published in ACI’s Concrete International magazine in November 2015 and earned the prestigious ACI Design Award in 2017.
