As one of the founding members of FIVE Holdings and the CEO of FIVE Real Estate Development, Nabil is the head of design, development and construction management of FIVE projects, with tracked records of above 30 regional awards, three global awards and the author of FIVE Hotel JVC- Dubai breakthrough new architectural concept design globally patented with FIVE Intellectual Property in 168 countries.
Architect Nabil Akiki has over two decades of experience in the design, development, master planning, project management and construction of diverse and mixed-used developments. He has delivered a range of world-class projects including hospitals, commercial, residential and luxury hotels and resorts in the GCC, North Africa, Middle East and Europe.
Nabil has worked in the UAE since 2007, driving the development of major projects in Jumeirah Village Circle as the Managing Director & Partner of a private firm. Prior to this he was the Executive Director of Design, Development and Construction at Midmac Contractors, one of Qatar’s largest contracting companies.
Between 1993 and 2004 he held several positions at Ideal Home Developers C&C in Lebanon, first as Head of Design and then later as Operations Manager and General Manager. The main focus of his work at Ideal Home Developers C&C was designing and developing flagship projects in the GCC, Middle East and Africa. Completed projects included four hospitals in Lebanon, schools and theatres in Jordan and Banana Island in Nigeria.
He has a First Class degree from INBA in Beirut, finishing top of his class amongst all architecture universities, and received his Masters in Architecture from the École Spéciale d'Architecture in Paris – France on a special scholarship, graduated as (Mageur De Promotion).
