Datuk Md. Shah bin Mahmood is the Group Chief Executive Officer of KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, one of the leading real estate players in the country and master developer of the 100-acre KLCC Development in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre and the largest urban development of Malaysia’s administrative capital, Putrajaya. He has over 40 companies under his helm, including KLCC Property Holdings Berhad and KLCC Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), the largest REIT by market capitalisation and the only stapled security in Malaysia.

Datuk Md. Shah has more than 28 years of experience in PETRONAS, the national oil company and has held numerous management positions covering various divisions. These include a managerial role in Business Development Unit, Corporate Planning and Development Division; Head, Commercial and Business Development, PETRONAS LNG Sdn. Bhd., Head (Solar Project), Research and Technology; Head, Project Studies for Project Delivery and Technology and Project Director of LNG Regasification Facilities Project in Pengerang, Johor. Prior to his current position, he was the Head (Strategy and Business Development), Gas and New Energy Business at PETRONAS. He is also currently a member of PETRONAS Corporate Investment Committee, Sustainability Development and HSSE Council, Leadership Team for PETRONAS Project Management and Advisory Committee for Business Planners Skill Group.

Given his extensive experience, Datuk Md. Shah joined the property industry and was tasked to take the helm as the Group Chief Executive Officer at KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd in the year 2021.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation) from the University of Technology Mara (UITM) and attended the Senior Management Development Programme (SMDP) from INSEAD and Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, USA.
