Kevin Aswegan is an Associate at Magnusson Klemencic Associates (MKA), an award-winning, 185-person, structural and civil engineering firm founded in 1920 and headquartered in Seattle, Washington, with a branch office in Chicago, Illinois.

His portfolio of work includes buildings as tall as 62 stories and developments as large as two million square feet. The leader of MKA’s Performance-Based Design (PBD) Technical Specialist Team (TST), and a member of the firm’s Earthquake and Wind TSTs, Kevin also is the author of the book Design and Performance of Tall Buildings for Wind (American Society of Civil Engineers, 2020), and an avid researcher who often writes about engineering trends related to seismicity and PBD.
