Julia is a Senior Associate Principal at SOM. Based in the firm's London studio, Julia is a member of the firmwide project management steering committee which leads research on new technologies that develop into firmwide standards.

She has worked on several widely recognised projects in the UK and Europe, including Manhattan Loft Gardens, Rondo Onz and Dublin Airport – Pier D and Skybridge. Currently, Julia is leading SOM’s involvement in the design of a new building and refurbishment of several heritage buildings at the United Nations of Geneva - Palais des Nations.

Julia also leads several internal committees at SOM including the Equity Design Lab, a group founded in 2020 that enables SOM to deliver its commitments to creating equitable, healthy and resilient built environments where all communities thrive. She is also co-chair for the London studio's branch of the Women’s Initiative, a community that challenges the barrier of gender equity and fosters the retention and growth of women within SOM and the built environment at large.
