Dr. Judith Allen is the Chief Operating Officer of Communities In Schools (CIS) of Chicago, leading program development to Chicago Public School students. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she went on to spend 15 years in New York City, beginning her career with the NYPD, leading community mental hygiene units. During her 16 years in Dallas, as CEO of the CIS affiliate, she brought extensive practice in serving high risk environments with children and families. In addition to consulting and private practice, Dr Allen has presented TED talks on Youth Resiliency, as well as providing community and corporate education trainings
