Joey Piotrowski is a structural design engineer at Magnusson Klemencic Associates (MKA). His diverse project history includes experience on large-scale projects totaling up to 185,806 m² (2.0-million ft²) across the United States and Canada. While currently focusing on high-rise office design, his past experience includes high-rise residential, mixed-use, healthcare, stadiums, and aviation.

Joey received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering in 2010 and Masters of Science in Civil Engineering in 2012, both from Washington State University. He is also an active member of MKA’s Performance-Based Seismic Design, Wind, and Concrete Technical Specialist Teams.

As Chair of the Young Professionals Committee of Seattle, he hopes to provide professional development and networking opportunities for the next generation of leaders. He plans to leverage the unique multi-disciplinary focus of CTUBH to facilitate knowledge sharing and advance the tall building industry.
