DCI Engineers Principal Jeff Brink worked for many years at the firm’s Seattle office before moving to manage the San Francisco team in 2013. Jeff brought engineering experience from a variety of project types and was ready to tap into the business development potential in the Bay Area. He elevated his role as a mentor to newer engineering staff at the office. Since he arrived, Jeff has been an active member with ULI, NAIOP, and a number of other industry organizations. He has either been invited or volunteered to speak at AEC events hosted by BISNOW, San Francisco Business Times, American Concrete Institute, Post-Tensioning Institute Conference, Oakland Construction and Development, and many group panel discussions by partnering with developers, architects, contractors, Port of San Francisco, and various industry professionals. Overseeing the completion of Fifteen Fifty in San Francisco makes Jeff a well-versed expert on how structural engineers can support mixed-use and high-rise projects. Fifteen Fifty is the first concrete high-rise built in a seismic active area of the US that incorporates ASTM Grade 80 reinforcing as longitudinal reinforcing in concrete shear walls.
