About

Ian Simpson studied architecture at Liverpool Polytechnic and after completing his studies left to work in London with Foster and Partners. Years after, he moved back to Manchester and set up SimpsonHaugh Architects with Rachel Haugh. The main offices of the practice are in Castlefield, Manchester, and London. SimpsonHaugh are the designers of some of the most iconic high-rises in London and Manchester including One Blackfriars, Dollar Bay and the Beetham Tower. Beyond the UK, SimpsonHaugh have recently finished the new concert hall in Antwerp.
