Heather Spray became Global Initiatives Assistant in May 2018 after joining the Council in January 2018 as a temporary employee on the Production & Global Initiatives teams. In her role, Spray provides support to CTBUH Leaders on their 100+ annual regional events. Additionally, she coordinates Committees and Working Groups, engaging CTBUH members in these initiatives to aid in the dissemination of best-practice information.
In 2015, Spray graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with her Bachelor of Science in History and Spanish, minoring in Global Studies. After moving to Chicago, she received a Master of Science in International Public Service from DePaul University. While there, she participated in several research projects, the results of which have been featured in publications such as the Chicago Tribune and the Wall Street Journal.
