Grant joined the Robert Bird Group in 1986 as a graduate engineer. Since joining the company, Grant has not only built on his technical engineering skills, but he has also developed a breadth of knowledge in the areas of project, people and business management, and fostering strong client relationships. This has seen Grant placed in key leadership roles such as Managing Director of Australian Operations, Deputy Chairman and Director on the Board.
On the engineering front, Grant brings extensive knowledge and experience in the design of tall buildings, complex basements and foundations, resulting in a keen ability to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions on complex projects; areas in which he is well recognised for within the Robert Bird Group and with clients.
Grant has been involved in projects across Australia, Malaysia, the UAE and the United Kingdom and acted as RBG’s Project Director on Merdeka PNB 118 in Kuala Lumpur working with LERA, and more recently as RBG’s Project Director on Crown Sydney.
