Francis is the Architecture Design Principal for the Buildings + Places Northeast Region of AECOM. In this role, he is
responsible for establishing the design direction with clients on multiple projects across the region. Francis is the “design
mentor-in-chief” for the region responsible for developing the region’s design acumen.

With 25 years of experience across the US, China and India, Francis specializes in large scale mixed use, highrise
design and urban design projects. His design work has earned 11 international design awards and 3 research
publications. In recent years his experience has expanded to include justice, transportation, resiliency and transitoriented
development projects.

Francis is passionate about integrated delivery, specifically the ways in which early integration can save cost and time
as well as fuel design thinking. Where others see limits, he finds inspiration!
