Dato’ Ts. Izwan Hasli B Mohd Ibrahim, 44, was appointed as the Executive Director of KLCC Urusharta Sdn. Bhd. (KLCCUH) in 2019. He is responsible for the overall key functions of KLCCUH including the business strategy and asset management of a wide range of assets managed by the company.
These assets are under PETRONAS Properties portfolio which include the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur City Centre Precinct (KLCC).
He currently sits on the Board of KLCC Parking Management Sdn. Bhd. and previously served on the board of PETRONAS Digital Sdn. Bhd.
Izwan has an extensive cumulative management and leadership experience within the PETRONAS Group. Prior to his appointment in KLCCUH, he was the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of PETRONAS ICT Sdn. Bhd. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Virtus IP Sdn. Bhd. Both companies are wholly owned subsidiaries of the PETRONAS Group.
An engineer by training, Izwan holds a M.Sc. in Information Technology and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering; both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA.
In addition to that, Izwan is a recognized Professional Technologist from Malaysia Board of Technologists, (MBOT). He is also a Member of Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM).
Upon his graduation in 2001, Izwan joined PETRONAS Carigali and has since held several key positions across several companies within the PETRONAS Group. With close to 20 years of experience in various business segments, his areas of expertise include Digital Transformation, strategic planning, assets and facilities management, product development, project management, systems development, delivery & operations, client relationship, business development and marketing.
In addition to his experience, Izwan’s passion in education has highly contributed to various higher learning institutions in the country. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Trustees for Yayasan Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), an Industry Advisory Panel member of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and Asia Pacific University (APU).
