About

Darren is an Architect and Urban designer from Ireland. He has delivered a diverse range of projects from large scale urban developments to adaptive reuse and rural revitalisation. With a strong interest in research based design he has lectured widely and for many years led a post graduate Design studio at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Fluent in Mandarin, Darren has focused much of his professional work on creating innovative, sustainable, and meaningful architectural responses to modern urbanising environments. His recent projects combine fresh architectural ideas with a sensitivity for existing context.
