Crystal Jeon assisted with CTBUH initiatives and, as a native of South Korea, supported CTBUH Chairman, Professor Sang Dae Kim of Korea University specifically. She joined the CTBUH staff in October 2009.

Crystal Jeon obtained her Bachelor of Interior Architecture degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. While in her undergraduate years, she received academic incentive scholarship from the School. And at the City of Chicago, Department of General Services, Bureau of Green Initiatives, she was closely involved with LEED architects as an intern. She then graduated with her masters from the Illinois Institute of Technology, College of Architecture.
