Dr. Chaoqin Zhai is now Director for Service Growth and Digital Services at Carrier HVAC North Asia, responsible for HVAC service and aftermarket growth strategies and connected services.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Zhai specializes in green and healthy building consultancy and certification, low carbon building design, energy management services, advanced building controls, and connected services. She has worked with customers in various building verticals including commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, data center, etc across the building lifecycle from design, construction, operation, maintenance and upgrade. Dr. Zhai is passionate about digitally enabled lifecycle solutions for improved occupant experience, enhanced building energy and operational efficiency.

Chaoqin Zhai holds a PhD in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in HVAC from Tsinghua University.
