During his 30-year career with Rafael Viñoly Architects, Chan-li Lin has completed a wide range of projects for universities, municipalities and private clients, including Tokyo International Forum, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Janelia Research Campus, MGM Vdara Hotel, University of Chicago Center for Care and Discovery, and UCSF Dolby Regeneration Medicine Building. He has recently completed NEMA Chicago—a 75-story, 798-unit luxury residential building, and the new Stanford Hospital, a state-of-the-art, 368-bed hospital at the Stanford University Medical Center. He is currently leading the design effort for the Vallco Town Center in Cupertino, California, a 7.5 million square-foot mixed-use project.
