Angela is an Arup director and London property business leader. She is passionate about purpose driven design, embedding better outcomes for people and planet at the heart of all her projects. Angela’s design leadership approach encourages holistic, evidence informed thinking and integration across her multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation. She is responsible for projects including the British Library Extension, Television Centre and Truman Brewery masterplan, all of which push the dial on achieving low carbon buildings and delivering long-term social value for their local communities. Angela’s thought leadership includes progressing industry knowledge around adoption of timber at scale through design and testing of hybrid concrete-timber structures.
