Tallest Building in London Southbank Complex Tops Out

Triptych Bankside complex in central London has topped out at 19 floors. 

The US$545 million (£400 million) mixed-use project includes three buildings, two residential and one office. The two residential buildings will deliver 169 apartments across 19 and 15 floors. The 10-story office building will provide 7,432 square meters (80,000 square feet) of commercial office space plus 920 square meters (9,900 square feet) of retail.

Developed by JTRE London and designed by Squire & Partners, Triptych Bankside is located at the heart of London’s Southbank. The two residential blocks sit on 420 piles. Amenities include terraces with city views, 24-hour reception, multiple private lounges, games room, large gym, private 14-seat in-house cinema, communal gardens, and 46 parking spaces. Reflecting a growing need for flexible working, a co-workspace will provide multiple workstations and fast broadband. 

The office building is targeting a BREEAM rating of Excellent and has nine open plan floors. The top three levels feature terraces and full-height glazing. Tenants will benefit from exclusive access to amenities including concierge services, a café, cycle storage, showers, and changing rooms.
