Leading Australian property developer, Cbus Property, has announced the highly anticipated new tower release and Stage 2 sales launch of its major north-west Sydney project, The Langston in Epping.

The Langston’s second stage, known as Central, features a collection of 180 one-, two-, three and four-bedroom apartments across 24 stories and follows on from Stage 1’s 29-story Langston Tower, which features 192 apartments and is now more than 70 percent sold.

Importantly, the Stage 2 release features updated designs that have seen Cbus Property and project architect, Architectus, incorporate a range of exceptional new amenity offerings, which have been added since the project’s launch, in a response to changing market conditions.

Cbus Property’s Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Pozzo, said the amended designs at The Langston reflected the changing expectations of prospective residential apartment buyers in the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“Without doubt, 2020 has been a challenging year, and what has become evident in the residential high- and medium-density sectors is that homebuyers are looking for an increased level of amenity in and around their homes,” said Mr Pozzo.

“COVID-19 has seen many of us review our home space requirements and nearby amenities, and therefore, we have made our apartment designs for Central even more inviting for buyers than they already were, with additional on-site amenity that reduces the need to leave home.”

Central will include a Pool Deck, Wellness Hub and Sky Lounge & Dining spaces, which have been designed to provide residents with previously unavailable lifestyle options.

The Pool Deck incorporates a 20-meter pool and poolside cabanas, while the Wellness Hub provides comfortable gym and exercise spaces with views over the landscaped gardens and a direct connection to the Pool Deck.

Meanwhile, Sky Lounge & Dining offers a beautifully landscaped terrace with views of the Sydney CBD skyline and the Blue Mountains, perfect for celebrating special occasions.

Resident-only podium-level gardens, featuring BBQs, casual seating areas, play zones and open green spaces offer even more options for on-site leisure and relaxation.

In addition, on-site resident study areas and shared co-working spaces provide options for residents to easily work from home.

Central will also be home to a dynamic 2,100-square-meter mixed-use retail precinct incorporating a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, and a number of other retail tenancies.

Mr. Pozzo said these aspects make Central an appealing prospect for a range of purchasers in 2020, including first home buyers.

“Central offers comfortable, contemporary living and the ultimate in lifestyle convenience, with approximately 70 to 80 percent of the stock priced specifically for first home buyers,” he said.

“Prices start from AUD$580,000 (US$412,844) for a one-bedroom apartment or AUD$790,000 (US$562,322) for a two-bedroom apartment, which makes Central a great option for purchasers wanting to get a foothold in the property market, in conjunction with the NSW Government’s first home buyer assistance schemes.

“However, there are also a range of spacious three- and four-bedroom apartments, as well as penthouses, which are ideally suited to downsizers, investors and second and third home buyers.”

According to Architectus Principal, Farhad Haidari, Central’s design adds another element of appeal for aspiring buyers.

“Central’s curvaceous form was designed to maximize outlook while responding to wind conditions and promoting solar access within the development,” said Mr Haidari.

“The building’s striking architecture is complemented by premium amenity that has been curated and designed to seamlessly blend with the residential nature of the building.

Construction on the project is well underway courtesy of construction contractors Hutchinson Builders, with The Langston’s towers expected to reach Level 13 (of 29 levels), Level 11 (of 24 levels) and Level 8 (of 19 levels) respectively, by the end of October 2020.
