Renovation Continues for Downtown Memphis Building
The revitalization of 100 N. Main St., the tallest building in Memphis, is progressing. On Wednesday, the Downtown Memphis Commission unveiled proposals for the cleaning and refurbishment of the structure, marking the first update in almost a year.
The comprehensive plans for the building encompass the integration of a hotel, apartments, business offices, a parking garage, and the anticipated revival of the iconic rotating restaurant at its pinnacle.
The project will unfold in two distinct phases. Phase one's construction is slated to commence in 2024, followed by the initiation of phase two in 2026. The overall budget allocated for the project is estimated to be around $10 million (USD).
