A large-scale building complex in the District 53 section of the Minato Mirai 21 Central Zone in Yokohama started construction in April 2021. The over 180,000 square meter project consists of two mixed-use buildings, along with an activated plaza, and a covered connection with the nearby transit station.

The West Building will have 30 floors above ground and a height of about 158 meters. It will be primarily office space, with 3,360-square-meter floor plates. The Keikyu EX Hotel is the planned tenancy of the upper floors. The East Building office building will have 16 floors above ground and a height of about 84 meters, with 2,796 square meter floor plates. The lower floors will consist of retail and restaurants.

An open common space will be activated with the concept of “rambling,” with renderings showing a grand staircase and outdoor lounge structures.

The Minato Mirai 21 Central District 53 Block Development project is scheduled to complete at the end of March 2024.
