Swire Properties announced earlier that an agreement has been reached to sell the group’s entire interest in the office building Cityplaza One. It was also stated that Swire Properties will continue to grow Taikoo Place as a global business district via the Taikoo Place redevelopment project; which is full steam ahead following the successful launch of One Taikoo Place, with Two Taikoo Place, a 1-million-square-foot (92,903-square-meter) office tower, slated for completion in 2022.

Actively plan the redevelopment of Wah Ha Factory Building and Zung Fu Industrial Building as the next phase of growth for Taikoo Place; which is expected to offer an additional commercial GFA of approx 780,000 square feet (72,464 square meters). A new office tower opposite Three Pacific Place, comprising approx 218,000 square feet (20,252 square meters) is slated for completion by 2023. Recently, Swire Properties also launched the Eight Star Street in the Starstreet Precinct, as well as two upcoming developments at Wong Chuk Hang MTR Station and in Chai Wan.

Eight Star Street is a 24-story, 37-apartment upscale development located in the heart of the Starstreet Precinct. Designed with urbanites in mind, the building has a vast collection of layouts for potential owners to choose from.  

These range from one- to three-bedroom units, with saleable areas of 431 square feet (40 square meters) to 1,198 square feet (111 square meters). In particular, the building features eight distinctive units with their own flat roofs; five unique three-bedroom units that each take up an entire floor; as well as two exclusive penthouse duplex units, with one unit inclusive of a private roof. Eight Star Street is set for completion in 2022.

Developed by Swire Properties, this development was designed with smart living and wellness in mind, which visitors can experience at The Eight Star Street Gallery. They can also "visit" a unit via a virtual experience. Swire Properties announced that the first batch of units at Eight Star Street will be offered for sale by tender.
