Glancy Nicholls Architects have released  its design for 100 Broad Street, set to become one of the tallest buildings in the UK outside of London upon its completion.

The scheme was recently submitted to the Birmingham City Council for full planning approval. Set to stand at 193 meters tall with a super-slim profile, 100 Broad Street could become the pinnacle high-rise in the emerging Broad Street cluster of tall buildings.

The scheme is set to include 500 high-end luxury apartments with unique panoramic views, a host of first-class residential amenity spaces, and a commercial ground floor. The developers are hoping the project will positively contribute to the evolving Broad Street sector.

Located within the building’s glazed crown will be what could be the highest-altitude dining experience found in the UK outside of the capital, containing both a sky lounge and a fine dining restaurant.

The development will create a prominent addition to Birmingham’s skyline, with guests benefiting from clear views across the entire Birmingham area.
