505 State Street, the 482-foot (146.9-meter) residential tower in The Alloy Block complex in Downtown Brooklyn, is on-track for completion early in 2024. Once finished it will add 441 rental units to the area, with 45 units reserved for affordable housing. The building is planned to be fully powered by electricity and preemptively addresses the future New York State all-electric building laws for most new buildings that will be enacted starting in 2026.

Designed and developed by Alloy Development, the structure is part of a five-building Alloy Block master plan comprising of 850 total units with 200 designated as permanent affordable apartments, 100,000 square feet (9290 square meters) of Class A office space, 50,000 square feet (4645 square meters) of retail space, 500 bicycle parking spaces, two Passive House public schools designed by Architecture Research Office, and space for a local cultural institution. Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for 505 State Street, which is bound by Flatbush Avenue to the northeast, Third Avenue to the northwest, and State Street to the southwest.
