Fazlur R. Khan Endowed Chair Presents Inaugural JRC Memorial Lecture

BUET Alumni (Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology) present the 2021 JRC Memorial Lecture, titled Risk, Resilience and Sustainability of Civil Infrastructure under Lifetime Hazards including Climate Change. Attendees will hear from Dr. Dan M. Frangopol, Fazlur Rahman Khan Endowed Chair & Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Lehigh University, USA.

Dr. Dan M. Frangopol is recognized as a leader in the field of life-cycle engineering of civil and marine structures under various types of hazards. He is the Founding President of the International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety (IABMAS) and International Association for Life-Cycle Civil Engineering (IALCCE).

The Annual JRC Memorial Lecture has been established by BUET Alumni to share knowledge of today's practitioners with tomorrow's engineers, scientists, public policy makers, and more.
