About

Since co-founding SimpsonHaugh in 1987, Ian Simpson has played an integral role in building its reputation as a leading urban and civic architectural practice. He is a passionate advocate of revitalizing cities, using contemporary architectural language and high-quality design, championing tall, mixed-use, high-density, sustainable, and viable propositions which engender a sense of community through identity, and act as symbols of civic pride, confidence, and ambition.

Simpson initiates and oversees all design work across the practice. He is regularly commissioned as a keynote speaker and has delivered thought-provoking lectures to national and international audiences.
