Zhenyu Xie is the Assistant Dean and an Associate Professor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University, Shanghai. He is also the Deputy Director & Deputy Chief Architect at the Urban Architectural Design Institute of Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., LTD. He is also a first-grade nationally registered architect.
He has been teaching, researching, and practicing architectural design and theory for many years, focusing on public architecture and tall buildings. The projects he has worked on include: the Bund Jinzhi high-rise in Shanghai; Building D of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University; the Museum of Tongji University; the Dujiangyan ""one block"" public library; the Dujiangyan ""One block"" F05 post-disaster reconstruction residential project; and the urban design program of the 11th rail line at the Jiading New City Station Complex.…
