Mr. Huang graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree and from Tongji University with a Master’s Degree. He is a Professorate Senior Engineer, National Class 1 Registered Engineer, Deputy Director of Structure Committee of the Civil Engineering and Architectural Society of Shenzhen, Deputy Director of Steel Structure Committee of the Civil Engineering and Architectural Society of Shenzhen, member of Guangdong Out-of-codes High-rise Building Anti-seismic Design Review Committee and Shenzhen Engineering Survey and Design Master (first batch).
Mr. Huang graduated from Tongji University Institute of Structural Theories with a Master’s Degree in 1987. Having been long engaged in building structural design, he has conducted in-depth research in the fields including super high-rise building, large-span structure, steel structure, composite structure and reinforced concrete structure and has made outstanding achievements. His major signature projects as project director and professional person in charge include: Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, which celebrates the world’s longest seamless reinforced concrete basement with a length of 1.25km, the first exhibition building of all-steel structure in China achieved with large-span space truss and space lattice structure; Shenzhen Ping An Finance Center, with a building height of 600m, which adopts mega-columns, braced frames, spatial belt trusses, outrigger trusses and the profiled steel reinforced concrete core structure, whose design and construction process has offered valuable experience for the industry; Shenzhen China Resources Headquarters Tower, with a building height of 400m, which tackles the construction challenges by the design of multi-column cross conversion and solves the problems caused by the conversion of inclined walls according to the whole process structural analysis of the actual construction process; Shenzhen Excellence Century Center, with a building height of 280m, which applies the technology of porous concrete-filled steel tube composite column to solve the challenge of connecting reinforced concrete beams to the concrete-filled steel tube composite columns; Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center with a building height of 220m; One Shenzhen Bay T7 Tower with a building height of 338m; Shenwan Huiyun Center with a building height of 350m and other large-scale projects.
As a professional person in charge and reviewer, his projects have won multiple awards. He has also published 52 academic papers in core journals including “Research on the Structural Design of Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center” and “Design and Research of Ping An Finance Center”.
