Dr. Werner Jager earned his degree in mechanical engineering in 1991, and in 2006, wrote his Ph.D. thesis on "Daylighting of Non-Residential Buildings," both at the Technical University of Munich. Prior to joining Technal Middle East, he was Director of Marketing and Technology for HYDRO Building Systems Germany. From 2014 to 2017, he was a professor of building physics at the University of Applied Sciences, Augsburg - Faculty of Architecture, and was founder and Director of the ai³ Building Physics consultancy simultaneously.
