Zhang Wei, the director of Consulting Section in Tsinghua University Architectural Design& Research Institute, has a Ph.D in Architecture from Tsinghua University in 2008 and has been working as an architectural leader in many important projects, including Shanghai National Exhibition Center, the First Historical Archives of China, State Grid Corporation Electric Science Museum, Beijing CBD Z1b building (Tsinghua University Guanghualu Campus), Yushu Tibetan Autonomous State Administration center and so on. His work focuses on modes and processes of urbanization and on the interface between technology and aesthetics. He has published 28 papers and 2 books since 2005. He is the Vice Secretary General of Architectural Programming Association in Architecture Society of China.
