Tony Rofail is a director at Windtech Consultants and has 30years’ of research and consultancy experience in wind engineering, his interest beginning during his undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney where he also completed a sponsored Masters of Engineering degree by research in 1991 on the subject of reliability of wind tunnel testing.
Tony assisted in the establishment of Windtech Consultants in 1991 and has since either undertook or supervised more than 2,500 wind engineering related studies for various types of projects around the world. These projects include super tall building structures as well as stadiums, long-span bridges and special structures. During that time, Tony has also assisted in the development of wind tunnel testing and analysis techniques for tall buildings with complex behaviour such as tall buildings with highly coupled modes and the effect of load transfer…
