As Vice President and Business Group Leader for The Walsh Group’s Healthcare Division, Tom oversees healthcare projects throughout North America. Walsh is currently ranked as the 5th Largest Healthcare General Contractor by Modern Healthcare and 10th Largest Healthcare Building by Engineering News-Record. Under Tom’s leadership, Walsh is leading the conversion of McCormick Place Convention Center into an Alternate Care Facility to treat COVID-19 patients. In just five days, 500 beds (Hall C) were turned over to the City of Chicago. After Hall C, the focus turned to Hall A where 1,750 beds were turned over.
